Meet Garegin
Garegin Pogossian brings nearly a decade of experience from his career at American Ballet Theatre, where he has excelled in soloist and principal roles in renowned ballets such as Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake, and Don Quixote. His extensive repertoire highlights both classical and contemporary works, ranging from the masterpieces of Kenneth MacMillan, Marius Petipa, and Frederick Ashton to the groundbreaking choreography of Twyla Tharp, Alexei Ratmansky, and Benjamin Millepied.
Beyond ABT, Garegin has been featured as a guest artist on international stages in Colombia, Italy, and Armenia. He is also regularly invited to teach master classes in Lyon, France, where he shares his expertise and passion for ballet with aspiring dancers.
Trained in both the French ballet tradition at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon under Stéphane Élisabeth and Philippe Lormeau, and the Vaganova method during summers in Armenia, Garegin combines a versatile foundation with a deep commitment to his art. His dedication to dance has been recognized internationally through honors such as the National Dance Competition of France and the Prix de Lausanne.
